Our Canadian tournament consists of local qualifying tournaments that take place year-round. The winners of each of the tournaments win a seat at the CATAN Canada National Championship. Players will face off against all other winners of the Qualifier tournaments to become the year’s CATAN Canada Champion.

The next Canadian National Championship will take place May 4-5, 2024 at Snakes & Lattes College in Toronto, ON. Already-qualified players should receive their invitation email by the end of February, 2024. Please reach out to op@catanstudio.com with any questions.

Every two years the Champions are sent to the CATAN World Championship tournament. The next CATAN World Championship will take place in 2025 at a location yet to be announced. The Canadian champion will also compete in the CATAN Americas Tournament, which takes place in the off-years from the World Championship.

NOTE: All participants must be residents of Canada and be 18+ years of age. You should be able to prove residency with an official ID card and/or a piece of mail (such as a utility bill) sent to a Canadian residential address. Winners of current season Qualifier Tournaments are not allowed to play in additional Qualifier events leading up to the next National Championship.
